Child prostitutes freed in US raids

More than 50 children have been rescued by the FBI from prostitution rings.
A sting operation targeting pimps and their prostitution hotspots took place in 36 cities over three days, resulting in the arrests of 700 people.
Girls under the age of 18 were taken into protective care after the operations.
The raid was part of a larger FBI operation which has so far recovered nearly 900 exploited juveniles from prostitution.
More than 1,500 FBI agents and police officers took part in the raids which were made partly possible by information provided by previously arrested people.
