Denver Police says it has received complaints about drugs being sold in the area and illegal transactions.
Police got a search warrant for the restaurant but did not find any drugs.
On July 22, police set up a sting operation during which an undercover detective says Moore’s son bought stolen cigarettes and TVs.
“During the course of that transaction, Zona made change and helped facilitate the transaction – helped pay for the stolen property,” Lopez said. “Its just poor decisions made by Moore, her son and her employees.”
Moore says she had no idea what was going on.
“They said they needed change, so I gave them change, I didn’t think anything of it,” Moore said.
Moore does not have a criminal history.
Muhammed has a history of drug possession and burglary.
McKinnon, also has an extensive history, including drug possession, prostitution and burglary.
