Peering out the window of the free Mall Ride is fine, but grabbing a sandwich outside or taking a horse-drawn carriage on the weekends affords a more relaxed view.

6. East Colfax Avenue
Denver’s notorious Colfax Avenue has gotten a lot less seedy in the past decade, thanks in part to the commercial development along its eastern stretch between Broadway and Colorado Boulevard. While you’re still likely to hear folks invoking
